Tally Light System

TALLY-01

Type
Sonifex SignalLED 'RECORDING' sign, red (BOQ OA-02)
Position
Above external door D5 (Control Room, outside face)
Switch
Momentary switch inside Control

TALLY-02

Type
Sonifex SignalLED 'RECORDING' sign, red (BOQ OA-01)
Position
Above entrance door D1 (Video/Podcast, outside face)
Switch
Momentary switch inside Video/Podcast
ElementDetail
ControlMomentary switch inside Control drives TALLY-01 (above D5); momentary switch inside Video/Podcast drives TALLY-02 (above D1) — each sign is switched locally (BOQ OA-01/OA-02/OA-03)
Signal cableLow-voltage wiring per sign with its matched Sonifex PSU (LD variant ships with PSU; LDD needs its own per datasheet — never a shared blanket supply)
ConduitSeparate conduit from audio and power cables

Dimming & Control

ParameterSpecification
Protocol0-10V or DALI
RangeAll main panels dimmable 0–100%
E-Light unitsOn/off only (not dimmable)

Cable Separation & Mounting Rules

RuleSpecification
Fixture mountingSurface mount or suspended — NO penetrations through acoustic ceiling [AC]
Lighting power conduitSeparate from audio signal conduit (300mm minimum)
Lighting cable typeStandard NMY or NYM — not required to be shielded
Shared conduitDO NOT share conduit with audio signal cables
Tally cableSeparate conduit from both audio and power
[AC] No ceiling penetrations for lighting fixtures. Surface mount or suspend from grid only. Penetrating the acoustic ceiling compromises the plenum barrier system.
