Construction Guide

Fire & Life Safety

Egress, fire ratings, acoustic assembly fire compliance, detection, and emergency lighting. This guide covers acoustic-system-specific fire considerations.

Egress

Exits
D1 + D5 — south wall
Max Occupancy
8 persons
Path
Rooms → D1 / D5 → corridor

Two exits on the south wall: D1 (STC 50, main entry serving Video/Podcast and VO Live) and D5 (STC 50, dedicated external exit from the Control Room, opens outward). Egress paths must remain clear at all times. No equipment, cables, or furniture may block the path from any of the 3 rooms to D1 or D5.

Fire Ratings for Acoustic Assemblies
