Build sequence

1 Measure RT60 (per room)

Sweep each room with UMIK-1 + REW; source at 1/4, mic at 3/4. Compare per octave band to target (report Sabine + Eyring).

2 Measure NC at design airflow

With HVAC at design airflow, measure octave-band SPL at each grille with a Class-2 SLM; rate vs NC target (VO NC-12 etc.).

3 Field STC test

Test isolation across the partitions + doors/window (ASTM E336) — confirm field STC meets the balanced-partition targets.

4 Punch list & sign-off

Log results, fix any fails (e.g., add Studio LF trapping, reseal a door), re-test, and sign off when all rooms pass RT60 + NC.

Golden rule: Don't sign off on paper — measure. RT60 (Sabine+Eyring) + NC at design airflow + field STC, room by room. Be ready to add LF trapping (Studio) or reseal an opening, then re-test.
