Build sequence

CONTROLVO LIVEstar ground / 32A panel1

1 Star ground + sub-panel

Install the 32A TN-S sub-panel with a single isolated-ground star point — one ground reference kills hum loops.

CONTROLVO LIVEstar ground / 32A panelsteel conduit (back-boxes putty-padded)2

2 Steel conduit + back-boxes

Run steel EMT conduit (never PVC for audio) and steel back-boxes; acoustic putty-pad every box in an STC wall.

3 Pull the audio snake

Pull the 16-channel balanced snake Control↔Live before wall closure (Mogami W2534).

4 XLR stage boxes

Terminate the XLR stage boxes (ST-AFB1/2) — flush wall plates in Live + Control.

5 Cat6A S/FTP

Pull Cat6A S/FTP (shielded) for network/control — shielded only in a studio to avoid hum.

6 HDMI-over-Cat6 (video tie)

Add an HDMI-over-Cat6 extender pair (TX in Control → RX in VO Live) + HDMI patch leads, so the talent monitor mirrors Control video over the Cat6 run.

Golden rule: Single star ground; steel conduit + putty-padded steel boxes only. Pull EVERY cable before walls close — snake, XLR, Cat6, and the HDMI-over-Cat6 video tie.
